WINE OF THE WEEK:
In our wine shop the Chilean section is sneaky.
Why? Well, it’s tucked away in a far corner, and
it’s not one of those categories that customers
frequently ask about.
But. Seems like every time we go look, the section
is wiped out and needs to be re-stocked.
Pretty sure that has something to do with the
amazing values coming from that country, like
this week’s WOW.
The 2015 Max Reserva Carmenere from Errazuriz
received a 93 point score from James Suckling,
who calls it “Very fine and pretty,” adding that it
“is very classy and beautiful with blackberry and
dried tobacco character.”
That kind of score often goes hand in hand with
a big price tag, like $40 or more.
But this very fine WOW is just 14.97 at NCWC.
And we’ve set up a great way for you to try it!
