#68 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2016
As our house cuvée, Thea’s Selection is a blend of fruit sourced from all seven of our organic, estate vineyards that span three different Willamette Valley AVAs. Assuch, it is a wonderful representation of the vintage across all of our sites. The nose is inviting with blackcherry, red currant and raspberry fruit that is nuanced by subtle spice notes of anise, cinnamon and baking spices. The rich, silky tannins give in to a long and robust finish that leaves the taste of strawberries and cocoa lingering on the palate. Drink now and for the next 7 years.
James Suckling – “Aromas of blueberries, bark and berry character. Medium to full body, chewy tannins and a fresh finish. A more structured and tannic 2014. Give it time to soften. Better in 2019.”
Wine Spectator – “Polished and expressive, deftly balanced and generous, with baby powder–accented cherry, lingonberry and floral flavors. Remains open and inviting. Drink now through 2022.”
