Winery notes: The Zinfandel grapes for this medium-bodied Zinfandel were sourced from Hawkeye Vineyard in Mendocino County. The wine opens with aromas dominated by dried cranberry, forest floor, and cinnamon spice. The palate offers a lovely core of cherry, cranberry, balanced acidity and “classic” spice associated with Zinfandel. The finish is supple with just enough tannin structure. This is a food friendly wine. Aged exclusively in American oak barrels.
