WINE OF THE WEEK:
We haven’t met many people who don’t
like Zinfandel. So friendly, approachable,
and gregarious, it’s basically a party in
a bottle.
And really good ones are also quite
delicious, like the Wine of the Week,
the 2009 Trinitas Old Vine Zinfandel:
“Aromatics of braised short rib lightly
dusted with white pepper and bay leaf,
in a coffee and chocolate reduction sauce
jump out of the glass. The mouth is
extremely rich and full with a soft roundness.
Flavors of fig and cocoa powder compliment
the fine dusty tannins that linger on your tongue.”
That’s the winery’s description; see what you
think! You can taste it at the bar this week.
This WOW is $19.97.
WINESDAY FLIGHT:
This Wednesday, 4/24, join us for
a delicious flight of 3 half glasses for
just ten bucks.
Blackjack Ranch “21” Chardonnay 2008, $17.97
-exceptional Chard with all the right components
in all the right places; tropical and citrus fruit,
oak accents, and terrific balance between acidity
and a creamy, buttery texture.
Ehret Family Knight’s Valley Cabernet 2006, $23.97
– A sultry wine with aromas of ripe black currants,
leather, and tobacco. It is full and lively on the
