WINE OF THE WEEK:
We just grabbed a stellar bargain for you!
The 2011 Rosenblum Heritage Clones
Petite Sirah, which typically would be
$15.97 here – and $25 at the winery –
is available right here, right now for $7.97.
Here is the winery’s write-up:
“The grapes come from some of the oldest
plantings of Petite Sirah found in the state.
With its inky, dark fruit and tanned leather
and spice character, we quickly determined
that this unique fruit needed its own bottle.
The Sacramento Delta influence and sandy
loam soil of this region, combined with the
age of the vines, give these grapes deep,
rich flavors for a big-shouldered wine.”
We have tasted this wine and think it is
a crazy deal at this price. Come try it
and buy it!!
WEDNESDAY WINERY EVENT
Yup, this is a bit of a curveball, doing this
on a Wednesday, but when we had a chance

from the winery itself, we said, hell yes!
The date, Wednesday 10/22
The time, 5:30-9 pm
The cost, $10
The winery, Basel Cellars
