This Friday, April 24th, it is our privilege
to welcome Lisa Kalfus and Andy Lynch from
Wente Vineyards of the Livermore Valley.

For 130 years the Wente Family has been producing
first-rate wines, and the list of accolades and
accomplishments is enormous. Here are just a few:

In 2010 they achieved California Certified Sustainable
Winegrowing status. In 2011 Wine Enthusiast named
them American Winery of the Year.

And in 2012 they celebrated the 100th anniversary
of their Wente Clone of Chardonnay. To this day it
remains far and away the most widely planted clone
of Chardonnay in California.

Their Chards, of course, are outstanding. But
so are their other wines. Lisa and Andy will be
here Friday to educate and entertain you, while
we pour the following:
