WINE OF THE WEEK:
A month and a half ago we were fortunate to host
globe-trotting winemaker Nick Goldschmidt, who
makes a ton of different wines at all different price
points.
One of his noteworthy values is the Chelsea
Goldschmidt Merlot 2011 from Dry Creek Valley.
This wine has full fruit up front plus plenty of
structure to carry that fruit through a long,
supple finish.
This is our best selling Merlot, and at 15.97 has
always been a consistent value.
BUT… we helped Nick out by buying the last
remaining cases of the 2011, and he helped us
out by lowering his price.
Which means of course that we lowered OUR price,
so you get this tasty Merlot for just 11.97!
Keep reading for a great excuse to try it…
WINESDAY FLIGHT:
This Wednesday marks the very last day of September.
Some may be sorry to see it go; me, not so much.
It was stinkin’ hot pretty much the whole time!
So let’s celebrate the departure of this infernal month
with a delightful, delicious, delectable mid-week flight.
It’ll be just ten bucks for a half glass each of these:
Frank Family Chardonnay 2013, 29.97
Chelsea Goldschmidt Merlot 2011, 11.97
Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel 2013, 19.97
