Okay, so you know what basic Chardonnay
tastes like. You know Sauvignon Blanc.
And you’re probably familiar with Riesling as well.
But we figure it’s time for some serious
white wine education. (after all, why should
the kids have all the fun of going back to school?)
And what better time than a warm midweek
evening at the end of August.
This Wednesday, August 31, for just 10 bucks we’ll
be pouring these 6 delicious white wines from
around the world:
X’armant Txakolina 2010, Basque, $15.97
Nasiakos Moschofilero 2010, Greece, $16.97
Fillaboa Albarino 2010, Spain, $13.97
Villiera Sauv Blanc/Semillon 2009, South Africa, $12.97
Schellmann Gruner Veltliner 2009, Austria, $11.97
Cakebread Chardonnay 2010, Napa Valley, $39.97
The last wine alone is worth the price of
admission. But come on, where else can
you discover wines like Txakolina and
Moschofilero? Trust me, we didn’t bring
these in because they’re hard to pronounce.
These are damn good wines!
Come cool off by “studying” these delicious whites
you probably couldn’t try anywhere else. And
don’t worry. You get an A+ just for showing up!
