WINE OF THE WEEK:

This is something quite special.

We managed to snag a few cases of a pretty
insane vintage close-out.

The wine is called Correlation Cabernet, from
Vineyard 7&8 Winery located on Spring Mtn,
above the Napa Valley floor.

This is a boutique winery whose regular Cabernet
sells for well over $100. This week’s WOW, the
Correlation, is the 2013. We see this online for
$115-$130/bottle.

The wine is delicious. Here’s the note from Wine
Advocate, as seen on wine.com:

“The color is dense ruby/purple, the wine pure, ripe,
medium to full-bodied, powerful and masculine. Give it
4-5 years of cellaring and drink it over the following
20-25 years. Barrel Sample: 93-95 Points.”

We just tasted it ourselves and were blown away.
It’s loaded with aromas and flavors of dark fruit
and dark chocolate, with oak nuances.
This literally is what $100 wines taste like.

But the winery has decided to re-package and re-name
this wine, so they’re closing out this vintage. Lucky you.

We have it for just 49.97/bottle. Again, lucky you.

Because quantities are so very limited, we will
not have a bottle open to taste. You’re going
to have to take our word for it. Do that.

And don’t delay too long. This incredible deal
will not last.
