WINE OF THE WEEK:
Winemaker Carol Shelton is awesome. She makes
great wines, and she’s a lot of fun in person (we know
this because she’s done wine events in our bar!).
She’s famous for her Zinfandels, and she makes
a bunch of great ones. But she rocks the lighter
side, too! Witness our Wine of the Week:
The Carol Shelton 2015 Coquille Blanc earned a
well deserved 91 point score from Wine Spectator:
“Very floral, offering spicy peach and apricot flavors,
accented by a hint of orange marmalade. Rich and juicy,
with intensity carrying through on the long finish.
Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Viognier and Marsanne.”
This Paso Robles white is so richly flavored and
satisfying, it deserves a spot in everyone’s wine fridge.
Available to taste this week, and 19.97/bottle.
