Discovering great new wines and putting them
out at great prices is one of the joys of
our existence. In fact, it’s right up there
with free hand mountain climbing in the Rockies,
backpacking through Europe with no reservations,
arguing with machete-wielding Fijians,
and skydiving (we’re quite adventurous).
So here we are with a pile of exciting new
arrivals that we’re just dying to share.
Which we will do this Friday, Jan. 20th,
for just 10 buckaroos. Here they are:
Sika Chardonnay ’09, $18.97
-90 points Bill Tobin
Stella Napa Valley Red ’06, $9.97
-87 points Jim Tobin
La Ginestra Chianti ’09, $10.97
-90 points Wine Spectator
Andrew Murray Syrah ’09, $13.97
-91 points Robert Parker
Stephan Ridge by L’Aventure ’10, $22.97
-89 points Tobin Bros.
Hedges Red Mountain ’08, $21.97
-90 points Jim Tobin
Hess Collection Mt. Veeder Cabernet ’07, $39.97
-92 points Wine Spectator
Don’t get us wrong. Tried and true is all
well and good. But isn’t it fun to discover
great new stuff? Come down and try these.
Don’t worry – we won’t invite the machete-wielding
Fijians.
