WINE OF THE WEEK:

We’ve spent the last 7 years dispelling wine myths.
Among them, the notion that Champagne and
sparkling wine are ONLY for special occasions.

Truth is, Bubbly is also a fantastic everyday wine.
It’s wonderful as an aperitif and is one of the most
versatile food wines of them all.

Sure, pour it at parties, and to celebrate those
weddings, birthdays and anniversaries.

But don’t stop there! Have it with sushi, oysters,
and other shellfish. Enjoy it with a picnic of fried
or roast chicken. Pair it with popcorn or potato
chips while watching a movie – that’s a pairing
that will blow your mind!

We of course carry an abundance of terrific
sparklers, including this week’s WOW.

The 2009 Roederer Brut L’Ermitage is a stunner
that received this 92 point score from Wine Spectator:

“A luxurious sparkler, with toasty brioche, mineral and lemon
brûlée aromas and rich, complex flavors of crisp apple
and raspberry, showing accents of fresh ginger and spice.”
