RETURN OF THE BRO-DOWN!

This Friday, September 14th, marks the return of the Battle of the Brothers,
aka the Bro-Down!

This is the once-a-year epic tasting which is also a fierce competition
between Jim and Bill for the title of KING OF WINE. Jim – the little bro –
has won 4 out of 5 of these battles. But Big Bill is itching for revenge
and bringing his A game!

The best part, aside from the amazing wines? YOU get to pick the champ!

Here’s how it works. Each brother chooses 4 wines, one each in the
categories of white wine, import, blend, and Cabernet. YOU taste them
all and pick your favorite in each category, and favorite overall.

We count the votes, and a champion is crowned!

To taste these 8 incredible wines – trust me, they’re phenomenal – the cost is
$25/person. Availability is any time between 4 and 9:30 this Friday.

You think Ali vs. Frazier was a fight? Yankees vs. Red Sox?

WINE OF THE WEEK:

This week’s WOW is an excellent antidote to our typically warm end-of-summer
weather. It’s the 2017 Pullus Sauvignon Blanc from Slovenia – yes, Slovenia.

This wine is bewitchingly aromatic, crisp, and delicious. The aromas and flavors
combine for a beautiful impression, with notes of pear and melon accented by hints of banana, nougat, orange creme, and fresh-cut grass.

Those words are all well and good, but seriously, you’ve just got to taste this!
It’s available for 14.97/bottle, and we’ll have it open in the bar.
