WINE OF THE WEEK:

This week’s WOW is pricier than is typical, but it’s a remarkable deal nonetheless!

It’s the 2016 Archery Summit Pinot Noir from Oregon’s famed Dundee Hills, and
it got a 92 point score from James Suckling.

This seductive, elegant wine leads with vibrant floral notes of lilac and violet
that are joined by touches of cherry, raspberry, blood orange, and a hint of
cocoa powder. Secondary notes include licorice and rosemary. The flavors
are persistent and saturating, enveloping the palate and lingering through
a refined, balanced finish.

Online we see this exceptional Pinot at $75, and our regular price is 69.97.
But this week only – because why not have “seductive, elegant” choices for
Valentine’s Day – we have it at the special price of just 34.99.

AS A SECOND WOW, again given that this is Valentine’s week, we just have to
mention the incredible value represented by the M. Bonnamy Brut Rose’ Cremant,
a sparkling wine from France that is astonishingly good for just 13.97/bottle.

Composed of 100% Loire Valley Cabernet Franc, it is juicy yet dry, with bright
berry nuances, a classic biscuity tone, and a fresh and lively mouthfeel.
