WINE OF THE WEEK:

The 2017 Cambria Katherine’s Vineyard Chardonnay achieved an impressive 91 point
score from Wine Spectator, and was named #61 in their Top 100 for 2019. Here’s the note:

“Well-structured, with a smoky richness to the mineral-infused apple and pear tart flavors. The fresh, spicy finish lingers with a creamy texture.”

We tasted the wine ourselves, as we prefer to do, and found that score to be warranted.  The wine shows marvelous balance and complexity and significantly over-achieves at its price level.

Most places you’ll see this wine priced in the high teens to twenty bucks. But right here at NCWC we have it for you at just 13.97/bottle. Come and get it!

One of our most popular winter events is our Vin Glogg party, which is this Wednesday!

Vin Glogg is a delicious California mulled wine that is made to be served warm,
as in the old European tradition.

This Wednesday the 11th, we will do exactly that from 5-9. A glass of Vin Glogg is
just $5, and it’s a great way to keep warm on these chilly nights. Cheers!
