WINE OF THE WEEK:”Man it’s a hot one.  Like seven inches from the midday sun.” Kind of catchy, right?  Someone should write a song.  🙂 Actually, Rob Thomas already took care of that.  But what he hasn’t done is provide a crisp, refreshing, delicious white wine to help take the edge off this heat. That’s where we come in!  This week’s WOW is the 2019 The Champion Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand’s Marlborough region. The wine is indeed crisp and refreshing, with a tasty array of tropical and citrus notes that are as zesty as they are tasty.  Give it a chill and enjoy! As enjoyable as the wine is the price.  Just 7.97/bottle right here at NCWC. WINE BAR BABY STEPS:       Wine of the Week! “Man it’s a hot one.  Like seven inches from the midday sun.” Kind of catchy, right?  Someone should write a song.  🙂 Actually, Rob Thomas already took care of that.  But what he hasn’t done is provide a crisp, refreshing, delicious white wine to help take the edge off this heat. That’s where we come in!  This week’s WOW is the 2019 The Champion Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand’s Marlborough region. The wine is indeed crisp and refreshing, with a tasty array of tropical and citrus notes that are as zesty as they are tasty.  Give it a chill and enjoy! As enjoyable as the wine is the price.  Just 7.97/bottle right here at NCWC.  WINE BAR BABY STEPSFinally, an answer to the question we’ve gotten countless times these last few weeks: “When’s the wine bar going to re-open?”   The answer is this Friday, June 12th!   But, as you would expect, there will be conditions, as we move forward with baby steps.  Our focus will be on the health and safety of our guests and associates.  So here’s how it will go down. A face covering is still required to enter.  You may remove it when you are seated on the patio, but must put it back on when you re-enter the shop. Bar service will be on the patio only.  To start, we will offer bottle service only.  No tastings or flights yet.  Shop and bar hours will remain 11 to 6, except for two days a week – Friday and Wednesday – when we will be open 11 to 8.  Again, this new schedule begins on Friday the 12th. We hope you understand and appreciate this slow, careful re-opening. As we’ve been doing for months now, we will monitor the evolution of this pandemic and observe guidance from the state and county as appropriate.  This of course includes cleaning and sanitizing protocols.   We are excited to offer you a safe, comfortable place to enjoy wine or beer, and hope to see you soon.  Cheers!
