WINEMAKER EVENT THURSDAY!
It’s been a LONG time coming, but we are thrilled to announce our first Winemaker Event in over a year!
This Thursday the 13th, we welcome Daniel Lipsky as we pour tastes of his Barrel Riot wines.
These are wines made in the traditional manner, then aged in used spirit barrels. This process gives them an intriguing complexity, with flavor profiles that are unlike anything you might get with regular winemaking.
Join us any time from 5-8 this Thursday, to meet Daniel and have some fun! Cost for the tasting is just $15.
WINE OF THE WEEK:
Take a look at this beauty from Paso Robles. It’s the 2018 High on the Hog blend from McPrice Myers. 90 points Wine Enthusiast AND Jeb Dunnuck.
An outstanding wine as well as a smoking value, this Paso blend (40% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 22% Mourvedre, 6% Petite Sirah and a dash of Viognier) offers earthy dark fruits, pepper and violet notes in a pleasure-bent package. It’s California’s answer to a top-notch Cotes du Rhone.
Equally impressive, this tasty bottle is just 15.97.
Keep reading to see a great opportunity to taste it!
MIDWEEK TASTING FLIGHT:
Here’s another fantastic deal on a midweek flight. Just ten bucks to get a half glass each of these:
Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc 2019. 93 points JS, fresh, zesty and intense.
2018 Siduri Pinot Noir Willamette Valley. 93 JD, balanced and terrific, just smoking good.
2018 McPrice Myers High on the Hog, described above.
So much goodness! This flight is available both Tuesday and Wednesday. Drink ’em up!
