PINOT NOIR TASTING!
Why do we do this every November?
Because Pinot Noir is an exceptional food wine, and – you may recall – there is a MAJOR food-centric holiday right around the corner!
So we’ve put together an awesome tasting flight of 5 Pinots from 4 different countries. Cost is $20, and this tasting is available Friday through Sunday. Check it:
Domaine Doreau Monthelie 2019. Complex Burgundy from Pinot’s ancestral home.
Burn Cottage ‘Moonlight Race’ Pinot Noir 2021. 95 points James Suckling; from New Zealand’s Central Otago region.
Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir 2021. 94 points Wine Spectator; from Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
Montagne Russe ‘Birchbark’ Pinot Noir 2019. Juicy red fruit, spice and floral notes; from Santa Lucia Highlands.
Melville Pinot Noir 2021. 94 points Wine Advocate; from Sta. Rita Hills.
This tasting is a great way to dig into the magic of this amazing varietal. We’ll see you this weekend!
WINE OF THE WEEK:
Considering what we’re pouring this weekend, it only makes sense to offer a Pinot Noir as our WOW!
The 2021 Lorelle Pinot Noir is from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, and it is a tremendous value.
Cherry and blueberry flavors are accented by notes of spice, cocoa powder and forest floor, all supported by balancing structure and a fresh, appealing drinkability.
Regular price on this wine is 17.97. But today through the 22nd (the day before Thanksgiving) it’s all yours for just 15.97/bottle.
Great with food or on its own, this makes a fine holiday WOW!
