Now for the wines…
WINE CLUB TASTING NOTES:
Silver Level first. The 2020 Luna Benegas Cabernet is from Argentina.
It delivers classic aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry and toast, with hints of eucalyptus and pepper. It is soft and flavorful, with ripe tannins adding structure through the finish.
Next up is the 2021 Bodegas Caro Aruma Malbec, also from Argentina.
This has a perfumed nose showing violets and blueberries, with a mineral undertone. It is nicely dense and juicy, packed with silky tannins.
Moving to Gold Level, we have the 2018 Two Vintners “Legit” Cabernet from Washington’s Columbia Valley.
This is flat-out delicious, showing layering, proportion and plenty of richness to its flavors of mocha, baking spices, black currant and dried herbs.
Finally, we offer the 2021 Kaleidos Morpheus from Paso Robles. It’s a blend of Syrah, Carignan, Grenache and Petite Sirah.
Ripe blackberry is accented by violet and cola on the intense nose. The palate is well structured, supporting additional notes of blueberry and black cherry.
Thank you SO MUCH! We look forward to seeing you soon!
