Welcome to the “Tour de France!”  No, we’re not talking about making you ride a bicycle 2150 miles.  We’re talking about wine tasting your way across the country – well, metaphorically at least!

The dates are July 12 and 13, aka this Friday and Saturday.  Any time you wish from 4-9 pm.  Cost is only $15.  You get to taste through these fine examples of French winemaking, ALL of which scored 90 points or better:

Laporte Sancerre 2017, 23.97.  90 points Jim Tobin.

Chateau de la Cree Montagny Blanc 2016, 29.97.  90 points Wine Enthusiast.

Chateau du Cedre Cahors 2015, 21.97.  91 points Wine Enthusiast.

Domaine L’Oiselet Vacqueyras 2016, 21.97.  92 points Wine Advocate.

Oiseau Rouge 2013, 19.97.  90 points Jim Tobin.

La Closerie des Eyrins Margaux 2015, 31.97.  90 points Jim Tobin.

So, basically:  Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Malbec, Grenache, Carignan, and Cabernet.

If you’re not super familiar with French wine, don’t worry; we’ll break it down for you with useful tasting notes.  And of course the wines will speak for themselves!
