Every year around this time we insist – make that
INSIST – on throwing a Pinot Party, aka a fabulous
Pinot Noir Tasting Event.
Why? Well, there’s this thing coming up, when we
stuff ourselves silly with all kinds of wonderful
food to show how thankful we are.
And of course we simply MUST have good wine with
which to wash down all that grub. And Pinot Noir,
my friend, is a really, really, really good option.
It’s one of the most versatile food wines available.
The good acidity, complex flavors and aromas, moderate
tannins and body… that all adds up to GOOD WITH FOOD.
So we absolutely must let you taste several of them.
The tasting is Friday, 11/13, any time from 4-10.
Cost is just $15, including snacks. Here they are:
Byron Pinot Noir 2013, 14.97
-Santa Barbara, 88 points Bill Tobin and Cat Vanettes
Lucky Rock Pinot Noir 2013, 14.97
-Sonoma County, 88 points Tobin Bros.
Left Coast Cali’s Cuvee Pinot Noir 2013, 17.97
-Willamette Valley, 92 points Wine & Spirits
Babcock Pinot Noir 2012, 26.97
-Santa Rita Hills, 91 points Jim Tobin
W.H. Smith Pinot Noir 2012, 27.97
-Sonoma Coast, 90 points Jim Tobin
Failla Pinot Noir 2013, 31.97
-Sonoma Coast, 92 points Antonio Galloni
If you’re serious about food and wine – and we know
you are – you’ve gotta come try these.
See you Friday!
