Friday 11/23/12 and Saturday 11/24/12

Friday, November 23rd, is of course the infamous
day known as “Black Friday.” While we wish
everyone the very best on this frantic shopping
day, we have chosen NOT to do the following:

1. Take out screaming, full page ads in every paper
2. Open at midnight (or 3, or even 5… we open
at 11, thank you very much)
3. Sell cheaply made electronics at ridiculous prices
(we sell great wines at great prices)
4. Hire barely informed teenage associates who will
misdirect you to everything you ask for (it’s still
just Jim and Bill, who have over 60 years experience
in the wine business)

What we ARE going to do is offer up half-price
glasses of wine ALL DAY on Black Friday, so when
you’re finally done fighting crowds you’ll have
a great way to relax.

THEN, for SATURDAY, November 24th, we have put
together a Tasting Flight that is as comforting
and delicious as sitting back in your easy
chair with a plate of apple pie a la mode.

PLUS, speaking of comfort food, we’ll put out
appetizer portions of a number of those, just
to kick it up a notch. This whole thing is
just ten bucks, and it runs any time from 5-10.
