Friday, December 21, year of our Lord
2012, is – of course – Doomsday.
It’s the last day on the Mayan calendar,
which folks for some reason have equated
with the end of the world.
Not sure how it’s gonna happen.
Comet impact? Massive floods?
Zombie apocalypse? We just don’t know.
The other thing we don’t know is
what time the end is coming, so we’re
moving forward with our tasting of
“Great Wines for Holiday Gatherings that
You Would be Enjoying if the World
Wasn’t About to End.”
With any luck, the end won’t come
until midnight, so we might as well
party, right?
These are the wines that are available,
plus appetizers, for only $10 this Friday
from 4-10 pm.
Smokescreen Chardonnay 2010, $13.97
-88 points Tobin Brothers
Meiomi Pinot Noir 2011, $19.97

the Mayans were wrong)
