Ever looked at a wine label from
a foreign country and just been
baffled by, well, everything?
As in, who made it, where they made it,
what grapes are in it, and what the
hell it even tastes like?
That can be a challenge, particularly
with many European wines, certainly
including those from Italy!
So this Friday, June 20th, our plan
is to de-mystify Italian wines and
show you how accessible and simply
delicious they can be.
And while it’s true some Italian vino
can be gigantically expensive, there
are oceans of affordable ones that
are terrific. That’s the category
we’ll focus on.
Join us any time from 4-10, throw
ten bucks at us (two fives will do
as well), and enjoy appetizers plus
tastes of these:
Masi Masianco Pinot Grigio 2012, $11.97
Sella & Mosca Cannonau di Sardegna 2009, $12.97
Boeri Barbera d’Asti 2012, $10.97
Colosi Nero d’Avola 2011, $13.97
If You See Kay Rosso 2011, $17.97
Tenuta Terre Nere Etna Rosso 2012, $19.97
Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco, $10.97
It’s true, some of these can be a
chore to pronounce.
But man are they easy to drink.
Come taste for yourself!
