WINE CLASS THIS SATURDAY!
The Wine Class we offered last month was a HUGE HIT, and we are
offering another one this month!
The class is “How To Taste Wine Like A Pro,” and it starts at 2:00 pm
sharp this Saturday, 10/21. Cost is just $25/person, in advance, or
$35 at the door.
That of course includes the wine tasting plus instruction.
The class should last about an hour and a half.
Once again, we have to limit attendance to 12 people. Unfortunately
we had to turn away some folks last time, so if you’re interested,
please call or stop by soon to make your reservation! 760-653-9032.
WINE OF THE WEEK:
Do you like smooth, juicy, fruity red wines? If so, you’re in for a treat
with this week’s WOW. It’s the 2013 Saved Red from California
This beauty is a blend of Merlot, Malbec, Syrah and Zinfandel. It leads off
with rich aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, and hints of cola and vanilla.
Smooth tannins carry those same notes across the palate, with spicy accents
that ratchet up the complexity and drinkability.
No need for elaborate preparation with this one. Just invite some friends
over, pop a bottle or two, and have fun! Just 11.97/bottle at NCWC.
FUN FLIGHTS THIS WEEK!
Here’s our Wednesday ten buck flight, available from 5-9:
Matua Sauvignon Blanc 2015. Classic New Zealand sipper.
