WINE OF THE WEEK:
One of the most famous red blends of the last 20 years is a Napa Valley concoction
called The Prisoner. Composed of Zinfandel, Cabernet, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and
Charbono, it is big and powerful, yet retains good balance.
The 2017 vintage received a 92 point score from Wine Enthusiast. The wine features
enticing aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and roasted fig. Persistent flavors of ripe raspberry, boysenberry, pomegranate, and vanilla linger harmoniously, for a smooth and luscious finish.
We already have the best price in town at 33.97. But this week only, through Sunday
the 13th, we’re giving it away for just 27.97. That’s a great stock up price, so pick
up some for now, and some for later! (if you’ve seen the label, you already know
this is a great wine for Halloween parties!)
