WINE OF THE MONTH:
Beaujolais Nouveau has long been a holiday tradition. It’s released on the third Thursday of November and historically has ended up on a great many Thanksgiving tables.
There’s just one problem with Nouveau.
It’s quite simple and very blah.
That’s why here at NCWC your November WOM is a much, much better Beaujolais – the 2020 Domaine Dupeuble, imported by Kermit Lynch.
Here’s the 91 point evaluation from James Suckling:
“A generous, ripe style of Beaujolais with plenty of black cherry, blackberry and blueberry, but also pleasant tannins that provide crispness at the finish and keep it light on its feet.”
This wine will be a much better choice for Thanksgiving! It is fun and youthfully vibrant and has a food-friendly character.
Online we see this bottle for 20 bucks. Here at NCWC our regular price is 17.97.
But this November it’s all yours for just 15.97. Cheers!
