WINE OF THE WEEK:
We get questions. Boy oh boy, do
we get questions.
Which is cool, because we have answers!
One frequent question is, “How do you guys
choose your WOW’s?”
Well, sometimes the Wine of the Week is
a screamin’ value.
Sometimes it’s a gorgeous, high-end gem.
And sometimes, like this week, it’s a wine
that simply defines the word “drinkable.”
The 2012 Halter Ranch Synthesis is
exactly that. A blend of 76% Cabernet
and 24% Syrah, it offers aromas of red and
black fruits with flavors of currants and
blackberries leading to a smooth finish with
well-integrated tannins.
Which is kind of a high-falutin’ way of saying,
“Damn, this wine is good!”
Available to taste, and just $19.97/bottle.
