WINE OF THE WEEK:
We sincerely hope this isn’t getting
old and tiresome.
You know, when we tell you about
another gem of a wine at a crazy
low price.
This week’s WOW is the 2013 Tarima
Monastrell from Spain’s Alicante region:
It looks purple and smells like it, as if
it were a fresh slice of boysenberry pie
in the glass. Those aromatics are echoed
on the palate, but with fine balance between
acid and tannins, and with the fruit tasting
delicious – but not overripe or overpowering.
This is quite well made and an absolute
steal at this price.
Which is a mere $7.97/bottle.
Come try it!
