WINE OF THE WEEK:
The Charming Creek Vineyard lies in the heart of Oakville, Napa Valley, just off
Highway 29 and immediately adjacent to Opus One. Winemaker Nick Goldschmidt
sources fruit from this exalted piece of land for a 100% Cabernet he names after
his daughter Hilary.
It shows rich and intense aromas of black currant, raspberry, and blueberry. On the palate flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, and raspberry are full-bodied and smooth, with hints of baking spices in the finish.
You typically see this bottle in 45-50 dollar range. And we in fact have had the 2015
at 39.97/bottle. But you know the story: when we get a deal, YOU get a deal!
So we now have this single vineyard Oakville Cab for just 29.97. It surely won’t last
long, so come grab it while you can!
CHAMPAGNE CLASS:
We have another Wine Class coming up! The date is Monday 11/18, from 6-8 pm.
This time our educator extraordinaire, Cat Vanettes, will be teaching you about
Champagne and other Sparkling wines from around the world. And of course
you will be tasting while you learn!
We will reach out with additional details very soon. In the meantime, just mark
down that date! 🙂
WEEKEND WINE FLIGHT:
This coming weekend, the 8th and 9th, we will use our Top Flight to focus on one
of our very favorite food wines – Pinot Noir!
Available both Friday and Saturday, this flight will feature a delicious array of Pinots
from different regions.
More details coming in a couple days!
