WINE OF THE WEEK:
Why the word “steal” in quotes?
Because that was one of 19 crimes
in 18th and 19th Century England that
might have gotten you sent to a penal
colony in Australia.
Enter this week’s WOW, the 19 Crimes
Red from South Eastern Australia. This
big red is Shiraz blended with Pinot Noir,
Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Wine Spectator gave this gem 89 points:
“Polished, expressive and distinctive, with a
green olive note weaving through the ripe
blueberry and spice flavors, lingering easily
on the deftly balanced and medium-weight finish.”
This is the 2012 vintage we’re talking about,
and it’s mighty tasty. At just $10.97/bottle,
this is a steal that won’t have you end up
in shackles!
Come taste it, and see for yourself!
YOU ARE THE BOSS THIS WINESDAY!
That’s right. You’re calling the shots this Winesday,
1/22. That means you get to design your own flight.
So for ten bucks you’ll enjoy a half glass each of
any three different wines that we have open at
the bar.
Come in and make the most of it this Wednesday,
any time from 4-9. Just DON’T let the power go
to your head.
DO, however, feel free to give us a raise!
