And that might be understating it.

This Wednesday, 1/29, we turn to old friends
of ours as inspiration for your Winesday flight.
Namely, Frank Family Winery of Napa Valley.

This time the flight runs $15, and you get
a half glass each of these beauties:

Frank Family Chardonnay 2012, $29.97
-ripe peachy and tropical citrus fruit aromas and
flavors, a lush and creamy midpalate, and layers
of toasty oak spice.

Frank Family Cabernet 2010, $43.97
-Rich, silky and seamless, with lively flavors of
dark fruits, tobacco and exotic spices. Finishes
with broad, fine-grained tannins and good verve.

Frank Family Zinfandel 2011, $29.97
-hints of sandalwood, sage and pepper embellish

THE PENNY SALE RETURNS, FRIDAY 1/31!

THE SUPER BOWL:

We can’t let THIS event go by without
a mention, right?

We’ll be open Super Bowl Sunday,
and of course the game will be on.

Plus, we’re doing a pot luck kind of
thing, with folks bringing various types
of tasty grub.

You don’t have to bring anything, but
if you feel like it, that’s great.

As always, you’ll have options galore
regarding wine and beer, and our typical
Sunday “6 for 6” tasting special will
be in effect.

Join us for the game! Bill and I of course
will be rooting for the Chargers to
miraculously win even though they’re
not playing.
