WINE OF THE WEEK:

Last week we introduced you to a killer Aussie blend from Langmeil Winery of
Barossa Valley.

This week, we’re showing off its “brother,” a Shiraz that the winery calls
“Hangin’ Snakes.” Following the Cote-Rotie tradition, the wine contains a
bit of Viognier to add texture and aromatics.

This 2015 Langmeil Shiraz earned 90 points from Wine Advocate:

This “displays a deep garnet-purple color and a nose of fresh black currants and black cherries with hints of violets, Provence herbs, cloves and cinnamon stick. The black fruit and spices fill the medium-bodied palate, supported by soft, approachable tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and perfumed.”

Online we see this at twenty bucks and up. But here at NCWC, this week only
through Sunday the 3rd, we have it for just 11.97/bottle.

We’re hosting a friendly POTLUCK PARTY during the game! All glasses of wine
will be half price all day, and we invite you to bring a dish to share.

If you want to watch the game but prefer a less raucous atmosphere that what
you’ll find at the sports bars, then come on over. Game starts about 3:30, and
the shop opens at noon.

Both Patriots and Rams fans are welcome! 🙂
