WINE OF THE WEEK:

With this being Valentine’s week, we find it only
appropriate to present not one, but two WOW’s.

After all, if your sweetie loves white, get
them a white. If their passion is red, then
get them a red! (but you better get them
something, or you’ll end up dead!)

First up is the 2013 Errazuriz Chardonnay from
Chile. James Suckling gave this a world-class
95 point score:

“This a phenomenal white with sliced apple, papaya,
and chalk with hints of slate, then limes. Full body,
with racy acidity that goes on for minutes with the fruit.
Shows incredible character; an absolute triumph.”

This amazing wine is just $18.97 here at NCWC.

Our red WOW is the 2009 Fin Amour, a blend of
Grenache and Carignan from southwest France.
Bill gives this 93 points:

The dense, structured majestic mouth feel is framed
in minerality. Power and elegance lay the foundation
for a complex wine of dark brooding fruit, savory notes,
licorice and violets, dried fruits and rose petals.

This fabulous wine used to be $39.97, but we got
an incredible deal that we are passing on to you,
making it now just $19.97/bottle.

WINESDAY FLIGHT:

This Wednesday, 2/11, is all about YOU,
and whatever wines you love.
