WINE OF THE WEEK:
Okay, say this three times real fast:
Chateau de Lancyre Rose 2012
Chateau de Lancyre Rose 2012
Chateau de Lancyre Rose 2012
Unless your French is pretty solid,
your tongue might be a little twisted
right now. Sorry about that.
Regardless of how we pronounce it,
though, this lovely dry Rose is quite
tasty. Goes beautifully with food, too!
Wine Spectator awarded this gem 89
points:
“A vibrant style, with concentrated dried berry
and melon flavors accented by dashes of pepper.
Dried mango and pineapple notes emerge on
the rich finish.”
All that for just $9.97. Available to taste
at the bar, so come give it a try!
WINESDAY FLIGHT:
We’re gonna have some fun this Winesday,
February 26. Lots of folks have been in love
with a reserve Cabernet called Godsend
that we’ve been carrying for years.
Godsend is made by a winery called Leal
Vineyards, which – what do you know –
makes other wines too.
So this Wednesday we’re going to offer
a flight of three of them; ten bucks gets
you a half glass of each, any time from
4-9:
Leal Carnaval 2008, $29.97
Leal Cabernet 2008, $29.97
Leal Threesome 2009, $29.97
We have limited amounts of these wines
to serve, so if you get here too late
we’ll offer up other flight options for you.
Come check these out!
(ps – got a pretty cool Cab vs. Cab thing
going on this Friday. We’ll send out that
info on Thursday)
