WINE OF THE WEEK:
Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there was a wine, a popular wine. People came from far and wide to buy this wine, because it achieved that wonderful combination of tasty and inexpensive. The people were happy.
Then a magical thing happened! North County Wine Company obtained more of this wine at a price so low it bordered on surreal. So low, in fact, that this legendary wine shop is able to offer it this week at just 5.97/bottle.
Why this dramatic turn of events? Because, as we’ve been stating for years, when WE get a deal… YOU get a deal.
The protagonist of this story is the 2015 Bogle Essential Red. It’s a blend of Old Vine Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet, and Petite Sirah.
It is packed with ripe flavors of dark berries and plums, along with hints of cocoa, spice, and cedar. It’s fun to drink on its own, and is even better with an awesome burger or fall-off-the-bone ribs.
This story definitely has a happy ending, but only if you get in here while the gettin’ is good. The 5.97 price is in effect through Sunday, 3/4.
THIS WINESDAY!
The story continues with a delightful way to enjoy this WOW. It’s part of our Wednesday flight, available this 2/28 from 5-9. Ten bucks gets you a half glass each of these:
Bogle Essential Red 2015, 5.97. Described above.
Bruliam Pinot Noir 2012, 39.97. Ripe red fruit and oak accents.
Bear Flag Zinfandel 2015, 23.97. Lots of personality and peppery flavor.
Love to see you this week. Cheers!
