WINE OF THE WEEK:
We ran this crazy deal a month ago, sold out
in 4 days, and thought that was the end of it.
BUT… we just found out our supplier had secured
more cases, so we grabbed a bunch more
while we could. Here’s the story once again:
Straight up crazy price on this week’s WOW.
It’s the 2012 Mazzoni Pinot Grigio from Italy,
just 3.97/bottle.
Which is 47.64/case!
Online we’ve seen this wine from $10-$20 per bottle.
But we got a fantastic deal on it,which means you
get a deal too!
Straw-yellow in color, on the nose it shows floral
aromas, with flavors of citrus and tropical fruit. It is
fresh, with a mineral note which underlines its savory tones.
Light, smooth, and easy-drinking, this makes a
perfect patio sipper, and will go great with light
salads and seafood dishes.
When it’s gone, it’s gone, so come and get it!
WINESDAY FLIGHT:
A couple things about Easter week. First of all,
we of course have a huge selection of great wines
and beers for your Easter celebration, and we’re
pretty darn good at pairing suggestions. So let
us help you with your beverage needs!
Second, we will be closed on Easter Sunday so
we all can enjoy the day with family. But our hours
the rest of the week will be the usual; open until 9
Tues-Thurs, open until 10 Fri-Sat.
Now for Wednesday, 3/23. With Spring here, Easter
upon us, and Mother’s Day not far down the road,
this seems a perfect time to show off some Bubbly.
So for the absurdly low price of ten bucks, we will
be pouring a half glass each of these delightful
sparklers:
Segura Viudas Brut Cava, 8.97
-consistent best buy, crisp and clean
Nino Franco Rustico Prosecco, 15.97
-balanced and seductive, with a smooth finish
Fourny & Fils Blanc de Blancs Champagne, 39.97
-classic, rich aromas and flavors, with incredible texture
These are wonderful, especially the last one.
Which will blow your mind, it’s so good. Better,
in fact, than many more famous Champagnes
that cost 2-4 times as much.
Join us at the wine bar this Wednesday!
