WINE OF THE WEEK:
Ever had Corvina? Well, you’re going to now.
And you’re gonna love it!
We’re talking about the 2012 Scaia Corvina
from the Veneto region of Italy.
Corvina is typically one of the primary varietals
in Amarone and Valpolicella. You don’t often
see it all by its lonesome, but in this wine it
stands tall.
On the nose and palate it shows soft, clean
plum and cherry fruit, with subtle but pretty
floral notes and gentle tannins. It is truly,
genuinely, delightfully drinkable.
And it’s just $9.97 right here at NCWC.
WINESDAY FLIGHT:
Quite a special flight for you this Wednesday,
3/25. It’s just a ten buck flight, as usual, and
all three half glasses are from the same winery:

Whitehall Lane Tre Leoni 2012, $19.97
-88 points Jim
Whitehall Lane Cabernet 2011, $36.97

We’re excited to offer this flight. Because these
wines most definitely do NOT suck.
