WINE OF THE WEEK:
Here’s a brand new WOW for you. Brand new for reals; we just discovered this, fell in love, and brought it in.
It’s the 2017 Vino Noceto Sangiovese from Shenandoah Valley in the Sierra Foothills. Here is Wine Enthusiast’s 90 point note:
“Baking-spice aromas and rich but bright red cherry and strawberry flavors define this well-balanced, medium- to full-bodied wine that is true to its Italian roots. Moderate tannins and good acidity will keep it lively when paired with rich food.”
This is so tasty, even on its own. Try it and see! 22.97/bottle here at NCWC.

FUN MIDWEEK FLIGHT:
2020 made it difficult to meet with reps and evaluate wines, but we’re back at it now, and we’ve been discovering some super cool wines.
And we’d love you to discover them too!
Our midweek Wine Flight is a perfect way to do exactly that. Just ten bucks this Tuesday through Thursday for a half glass each of these:
Domaine de la Foliette Muscadet 2019, from the westernmost portion of France’s Loire Valley. Crisp and refreshing, with citrus and floral notes and a zesty seaspray minerality. A fantastic spring/summer sipper.
Conduit Grenache 2019, from Amador County. Bursting with cherry, strawberry, raspberry, floral and spice notes. Meant to be served with a slight chill, this is another terrific warm weather wine.
Vino Noceto Sangiovese 2017, from Shenandoah Valley. Close your eyes and you may think you’re sipping Chianti, as this shows fine varietal authenticity. Juicy red fruits combine with a warm earthy tone and fine structure to make this a wine that seriously overdelivers.
Three wonderful wines from somewhat under the radar locations. Again, just ten bucks for a half glass each. Come in and enjoy!
