WINE OF THE WEEK:
If you’ve been with us for a while, you’ve heard us mention this wine before –
the Masi Masianco, a Pinot Grigio blend from Italy. It’s been one of our very
best sellers through multiple vintages.
Why? Because it’s consistently delicious! Our new, current vintage is the 2016,
which again carries about 25% Verduzzo to complement the Pinot Grigio.
The wine is fresh and elegant on the nose with hints of ripe peaches and
tropical fruit combined with delicate touches of honey and vanilla. Elegant and well balanced on the palate: the Pinot Grigio grapes give it freshness and lively acidity, while the lightly-dried Verduzzo grapes give structure and complexity.
It’s ideal as an aperitif and perfect with hors d’oeuvres, seafood and poultry.
We see this wine online at about 15 bucks. Our REGULAR PRICE is 11.97.
But this week only, 4/10-4/15, it’s just 9.97/bottle. Come and get it!
