WINE OF THE WEEK:
At last weekend’s Syrah & Petite Sirah tasting,
everyone kept asking the same thing about
one of the wines:
“This price has to be wrong. It’s a typo, right?”
They were asking about the McManis Petite
Sirah 2015, which we listed at 8.97/bottle.
No typo, we told everyone. It’s really that good,
and that inexpensive.
So we completely sold out Friday night.
But we’re getting more! Which is a good thing,
because it’s this week’s WOW.
Aromas of ripe blackberry, toffee, and a touch of
clove burst from the glass. The juicy dark berry
flavors lead to a smooth, mocha-tinged finish.
The first thing you learn in Wine Buying 101 is,
if you find a great wine at a great price, you buy it.
So come on in!
UPCOMING EVENTS:
First, this Wednesday, 4/12. Only $10 for an
impressive flight of three half glasses:
