WINE OF THE WEEK:
We sure hope you’re okay with all these
crazy deals we keep throwing your way,
because here we go again!
The 2012 Meiomi Pinot Noir has been
a long-time favorite here, consistently
flying off the shelf at its everyday
price of $19.97.
Here is the winery’s description:
“The wine opens up with aromas of ripe berries,
fresh cranberry, candy apple and malted vanilla,
some of which carries through to the palate.
here’s a hint of Granny Smith apple on first sip
that beautifully balances out the rich cream soda
and cherry cola notes. It is an extremely layered
wine, both in structure and flavor, with a slight
earthiness and sweet oak on the finish.”
This week – and this week only – we’re able
to offer this delicious wine for just $15.97
per bottle.
OR… just $14.97, which is 25% off, if you
buy 6 or more.
This deal is available through Saturday,
April 26, and limited to stock on hand.
Plus, it’s part of our Winesday Flight this
week, so you can taste it first if you want.
Come on in, or give us a call at
760-744-2119 to order over the phone!!
WINESDAY FLIGHT:
Yum, yum, yum. Check out this week’s
Winesday flight:
Meiomi Pinot Noir 2012
-described above
Luca Malbec 2011
-92 points Wine Advocate, 91 Stephen Tanzer:
“Sexy aromas of blackberry, black raspberry,
cassis and violet, plus a hint of caramel oak.
Dense, creamy and concentrated; in a sweet
style but nicely integrated acidity gives it balance.”
Papa’s All Blacks Red Blend 2011
-93 points Wine Spectator:
“A powerhouse and altogether distinctive,
with deep aromas of briary blueberry and
smoky tar that lead to layered huckleberry,
sage and white pepper flavors wrapped in
muscular tannins.”
Any other wine bar or bistro would charge
$20, $25, maybe $30 for a flight like this.
But right here at NCWC, any time from 4-9
this Wednesday, it’s just $10 for a half
glass of each.
What a great way to raise your midweek
to extraordinary heights!
