WINE OF THE WEEK:
Got a fabulous springtime sipper for you! It’s the 2017 Toschi (“toss key”) Sauvignon
Blanc from California.
This tastes more expensive than it is, no doubt about it. The rich aromatics recall
melon and banana, plus ripe pear. On the palate those same flavors unfold, in
typically fresh, crisp fashion.
This beauty is here and ready for you, and at just 7.97 it’s a great value!
FINAL FOUR WINE TASTING!
Our annual FINAL FOUR TASTING is this Friday and Saturday! This is one of our most enjoyable wine tasting events of the year, and this is how it works:
We put 4 of our most popular wines up against each other in a single-elimination
tournament, with YOU deciding the winner.
You start by tasting all 4 wines, and pick your top 2. We then pour you those 2 wines
again, and you pick the champion.
We of course will tally all the votes and announce the overall Champion Wine
of North County Wine Company. Cost for this awesome event is $20, and
these are the awesome wines!
Alto Moncayo Veraton Garnacha 2016, 29.97
Thorn Merlot 2015, 33.97
Bramare Malbec 2015, 34.97
Adaptation Cablernet 2016, 46.97
All are fantastic, and this tasting will be tremendous. Join us Friday and/or Saturday.
The tournament will be available to you any time from 4-9.
Let the best wine win!!
