WINE OF THE ORDER:
How would you like to be relaxing in the south of France right now? Kicking back
on a terrace, gorgeous view of the Mediterranean, glass of crisp Rose’ at hand.
Sounds good to me! If it sounds good to you as well, check out our WOW. The 2018
Terrasse du Moulinas Rose’ Pastel will take you there – metaphorically at least.
Made from Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, this is happy juice for sure. It’s packed with ripe red fruit flavors and carries beautifully evocative aromas of bubble gum, strawberry jolly rancher, and circus peanut candy. It’s dry though, don’t be fooled, and it’s nice and silky on the palate.
Best part? This perfect spring and summer wine is just 9.97, and it comes in
a full one liter bottle!
Come and get it while it lasts. 🙂
WEDNESDAY WINE BAR SPECIAL!
THIS Wednesday we’re revisiting our “Somm’s Pick” special! Our sommelier will
choose a kick-ass wine (yes, that’s official somm terminology; at least around here
it is) and open it up for you to enjoy.
The wine is the 2015 Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon from Mt. Veeder, Napa Valley.
96 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate:
“Composed of 87.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Cab Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, this gives up notions of crème de cassis, violets, baker’s chocolate, licorice, and a savory touch like beef drippings. Full-bodied, concentrated and wonderfully expressive, the palate gives lovely ripe tannins and great freshness, finishing long and earthy.”
At 89.97/bottle the Mt. Brave would probably cost you $40 a glass if you could
even find someone pouring it. But this Wednesday you can try a half glass
of this stunner for just ten bucks…
and we’ll throw in a half glass of our WOW (described above) for free!
Come have fun with us this Wednesday!
