WINE OF THE WEEK:
If you like juicy, fruit-forward reds for just 9.97/bottle, then keep reading!
The 2019 Zolo Signature Red is an Argentinian blend of Merlot, Bonarda, Cabernet and Malbec. James Suckling gave it 91 points on the 100 point scale.
The wine offers ripe flavors of cherry, black cherry, strawberry and plum, with a bit of dusty earth and suggestions of wood chips and coffee. With moderate tannins providing structure and just enough grip, this is built for flavorful quaffing, and it will match beautifully with barbecue and burgers.
Come and get it!
MIDWEEK WINE FLIGHT!
Once again this midweek, it’s just ten bucks to get a half glass each of these tasty reds, all from Argentina:
Zuccardi Q Cabernet Franc 2017. 93 points James Suckling; fresh and bright.
Zolo Signature Red 2019. 91 points James Suckling; ripe and quaffable.
Felino Malbec 2018. 92 points James Suckling; savory and silky, with backbone.
Argentina of course is famous for Malbec. This is a great opportunity to see they can do more than that!
This flight is available Tuesday through Thursday. Cheers!
