WINE OF THE WEEK:

WOW, is it hot!

WOW, are we thirsty!

These sorts of “wows” call for OUR
sort of wow, which in this case is
the LaMarca Prosecco, times two!

We’ll get to the “times two” in a sec.
First let’s see what Wine Spectator,
with its 90 point score, has to say:

“A delicate, well-balanced Prosecco,
showing a good blend of baked apple,
lemon and grapefruit, with a lightly
creamy mineral texture on the palate.
Medium froth, with some body and a
pleasant lemon and mineral finish.”

We have this effervescent, lip-smacking,
thirst-quenching Prosecco in two packages.

The first is the standard 750 ml, which
sells for $14.97.

The second is a fun personal size, just
187 ml, which all the trendy types are
drinking out of a straw these days.
(and yes, we have straws if you want one)

BEER TASTING THIS SATURDAY!

Yup, you read that right. Donovan Contreras
from Black Market Brewing will be here this
SATURDAY, May 17, from 3-6 pm.

Donovan will be pouring a bunch of his
brews, and tasting this delicious lineup
costs just ten bucks.

Grab some fellow beer lovers, and come
on over. Gonna be fun!

(fyi, our Saturday wine flight special
will still be available all day, per usual)

WINESDAY FLIGHT SPECIAL:

We just changed out our bar menu, which means
we’ve got a pile of great new wines to show off.

So this Wednesday, 5/14, you can “build your own”
flight. A mere ten dollars gets you any three
different half glasses – red, white, or bubbly –
that you desire!

AS FOR FRIDAY…

We’ve put together a lineup, plus special
guest, that is quite remarkable.

The full details will come out this Thursday.
I’ll just let slip right now that it includes a
couple of the finest California Chardonnays
we’ve ever tasted.
