WINE OF THE WEEK:
Gathering friends and grilling great grub
is always a blast, especially during the
Spring and Summer, when the days are
nice and long.
And let me tell you, the festivities and
food get a lot finer with the right wine
in your glass!
Enter your Wine of the Week, the 2011
Maggio Petite Sirah from Lodi, California.
Rich blackberries and boysenberries on
the nose foreshadow that same rich fruit
on the palate, plus vanilla and a smoky,
savory quality. The tannins provide quite
a bit of good dusty grip, lending a solid
framework supporting all that fruit.
This wine will go with barbecue like
surfboards go with waves. So much so,
in fact, that we’ve made it part of our
Friday Tasting Event featuring perfect
Summer barbecue wines.
Best part? It’s just $7.97 here at NCWC!
WINESDAY FLIGHT INCLUDES CAYMUS!
After a week like the last one, we could
all use some comfort, right?
We’re doing our part to help with our usual

And, of course, your Winesday Flight.

as delicious as a wine can be.
We hope to have the opportunity to
