GET YOUR WINE KNOWLEDGE ON!
This Saturday the 23rd is the latest in our ongoing Wine Class series, and we have a few spots available for those who love to learn about what they’re sipping!
Cost is $30 in advance ($40 at the door), and the class runs from 2:00-3:30.
Our Wine Prof extraordinaire, Cathryn Vanettes, will be teaching you how to
distinguish between wines of the Old World (think Europe) and those of the New.
This class will be both fun and fascinating, and of course wine tasting is included!
Give us a call at 760-653-9032 to reserve your spot.
WINEMAKER EVENT:
Join us this Friday the 22nd to meet owner/winemaker John Fones of Cellars 33,
and taste his exceptional wines!
We love these bottles because they meet that magical sweet spot where value
meets quality. And we’re making it super easy for you to see what we mean.
This fun event is open to everybody from 5-9 this Friday, and cost is just ten bucks!
These are the wines we’ll be tasting:
Cellars 33 Rose of Pinot Noir 2017, 11.97. 89 points NCWC.
Cellars 33 Grenache Blanc 2016, 15.97. 88 points NCWC.
Cellars 33 Pinot Noir Sonoma 2014, 20.97. 91 points Wine Enthusiast.
Cellars 33 Pinot Noir Hummingbird Hill 2015, 24.97. 90 points Wine Enthusiast.
Cellars 33 Zinfandel 2015, 21.97. 92 points Wine Enthusiast.
A winemaker event for just $10? Only at North County Wine Company.
You’re welcome, and we’ll see you Friday!
WEDNESDAY WINESDAY:
Time for another tasty midweek wine flight, we think. So this Wednesday
we’ll offer up a ten buck flight consisting of a half glass each of…
Mohua Sauvignon Blanc 2016, a classic New Zealand refresher.
Smokescreen “The Chemist” Red Blend 2016, a killer Paso red.
Daou Reserve Cabernet 2015, elegant and long, with serious backbone.
Celebrate the imminent start of summer with us this Winesday! Available
any time from 5-9.
