WINE OF THE WEEK:

Summer may be three weeks away, but let’s
face it. In our part of the world we should
always have great warm weather wines on hand!

This week we’re offering you a fantastic one,
at a fantastic price. The 2013 Pine Ridge
Chenin Blanc-Viognier is your WOW.

This wine is absolutely charming, fresh, and
mouth-watering. Its aromas and flavors suggest
melons, peaches, tropical fruit, and floral notes.
It’s juicy and delightful, ready for fun, but compelling
enough for pairing with salads, seafood, and soft
cheeses.

UPCOMING FUN!

We’ve got a wonderful Top Flight for this
coming weekend, Friday and Saturday.

PLUS… here’s advance notice of a fabulously fun
event we call “Super Sippers,” which takes place
on Saturday, June 13th.

For those of you who don’t know, this is essentially
a potluck on steroids. Serious, wine-infused steroids.

Here’s how it works. You show up with something
tasty to nibble on, and a reasonable amount of it to share.

You either purchase here, or bring from your own
stash, a nice, noteworthy bottle of wine that you
would be proud to share.

Then you simply join the fun! This is a heckuva party,
with everyone sharing food and wine with one another.
We won’t charge you a corkage fee, and there is no
price of admission. If you have food and wine to share,
you’re in. It’s that simple.

The window is 4-10 pm. We of course will be open
to the public during this time frame, so you don’t have
to participate in the Super Sippers event. You can
come in for a glass or a flight, if you’re so inclined.
