WINE OF THE WEEK:Among California Zinfandel producers, Turley stands tall indeed. Their Zins – they make dozens of them – inspire rabid devotion and high prices. But they also make a terrific Zin called Juvenile.  As the name suggests, this wine comes from younger, re-planted vines (6 to 25 years old) in several of their top vineyards. And it’s delicious.  The wine is wonderfully fragrant and vibrant, with floral tones decorating the bright red fruit.  Potent but not ponderous, flavorful but not fat, this will pair well with barbecue, burgers, and casual sipping. As for price, we see this online in the mid-twenties.  But here at NCWC it’s just 19.97, and available now.  Come and get some!   REMINDERS:We continue to look forward to the day when we can re-open the bar, but for now we still have to keep it closed. Of course we’re keeping the shop open, with our usual hours in this unusual year. 11 to 6, Tuesday through Saturday.   Walk-in shopping is fine, and we continue to offer curbside pickup and delivery.  Call us at 760-653-9032 to let us know how we can help. Be well, friend!
